Gaoyadeo (Caneadea) was a town nestled beside the great angle of the Genesee River. It was where the Council House was at the time of the Treaty of Big Tree, it became part of the Caneadea Reservation, was taken away shortly after and now 200 years later is a place of renewed friendship.
