The Seneca-Iroquois National Museum in collaboration with the Buffalo Maritime Center presents: Dug Out Canoe Building every Tuesday from October 6, 2026 to November 24, 2026. The public is welcome to join us in building this dug out canoe from 11am – 3pm outside by the Longhouse. Be a part of living history and learn how dug out canoes were traditionally made. This will also serve as a tool workshop with Jonathan Thornton.
