Loading Events

Join us at the Oil Spring Territory to talk about the history of Oil Spring and the important part it places in Seneca history on October 17, 2026 from 10am – 3pm. This will be a part of an exhibition coming to the museum in 2027 as well as the upcoming 400-year anniversary of the first written record of oil in North America, at the Oil Spring Territory. The public is invited to create a shared artwork lead by Elia Vargas using plastic bags to make a chain/rope to reach across the territory. Bring plastic bags and a dish to pass!

If you cannot make it to the event, you are welcome to donate plastic bags at the museum to take part.
